STRATUS trains colleagues from around the world to become the best simulation educators they can be. The STRATUS International Program in Clinical Simulation has a broad focus that allows our International Scholars to gain an understanding of the various components of simulation and medical education while also providing individualized tailoring to meet the specific needs of each learner. Core topic areas include adult learning theory, curriculum development, debriefing in simulation education, technical skills training, business models for simulation funding, simulation center design, center operations, formative and summative assessment and research in simulation. In an effort to provide the most optimal experience, we leverage the breadth and scope of educational opportunities available in Boston. Scholars also have time to work with faculty on specific areas of interest.
