International Fellowship in Clinical Simulation

STRATUS trains colleagues from around the world to become the best simulation educators they can be. Our tuition-based immersive programs range from six weeks to one year and meet the specific needs of the learner. Each program has a defined curriculum consisting of didactic, experiential and project-based elements. In efforts to provide the most optimal experience, we leverage the breadth and scope of educational opportunities available in Boston. Graduates leave better prepared to meet the needs of their learners.

Core Curriculum

The STRATUS International Fellowship in Medical Simulation has a broad focus that allows fellows to gain an understanding of the various components of simulation and medical education. Core topic areas include: adult learning theory, curriculum development, debriefing in simulation education, technical skills training, business models for simulation funding, simulation center design, center operations, formative and summative assessment and research in simulation. Fellows also have time to work with faculty on specific areas of interest.
