Thinking About Intelligence: What is your IQ & Does it matter?

The BEI invites you to the first session in the "Thinking about Intelligence" a series on helping and guiding the trainee.

"What is Your IQ & Does It Matter?"

Kick off this interactive series with a deep dive into one of the most debated concepts in education and performance: IQ. In this session, we’ll unpack what IQ actually measures, explore its origins, and reflect on its relevance in today’s academic and clinical environments. Participants will engage in self-assessment, challenge common myths, and consider how cognitive ability interacts with success, learning, and decision-making in healthcare. Whether you're a trainee or a seasoned educator, this session invites you to reflect on how we define—and value—intelligence in ourselves and others.
