About the Linda Joy Pollin Women's Heart Center

The Linda Joy Pollin Women's Heart Center is a multidisciplinary effort of Brigham and Women's Hospital, dedicated to preventing heart disease and raising awareness about heart health. Our Service provides specialized programs for women who would like to:

  • Reduce their risk for heart disease and stroke
  • Prevent a first heart attack or stroke
  • Reduce the chance of a recurrent heart attack or stroke
  • Prevent or delay the need for angioplasty, stent or bypass
  • Improve their lifestyle and quality-of-life

Our team is comprised of a highly trained professional group of health care providers, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, psychologists and pharmacists, and can help you quit smoking, achieve a healthy weight, reduce cholesterol, lower blood pressure, exercise regularly, and manage stress. We accomplish these goals by offering the following programs:
