Airway and Breathing Disorders Programs and specialties at The Lung Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) unites the clinical and research expertise of pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, allergists/immunologists, otolaryngologists, oncologists and occupational medicine specialists. These clinicians work together in focused teams, providing specialized care for specific airway diseases and disorders of the chest wall and diaphragm.

Our multidisciplinary teams deliver the latest advancements in preventing, diagnosing, treating and managing complex respiratory concerns including severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tracheobronchial disorders and diseases caused by occupational or environmental triggers. In one integrated and comprehensive program, our patients receive expedited, joint consultations with personalized diagnostic testing and physiologic assessments. We provide proven and novel medical therapies and minimally invasive surgical interventions that improve quality of life.
