Professional Training Sessions - Center for Professionalism and Peer Support

The BWH professionalism training program was designed by hospital leadership with much assistance from the external agency ELI, Inc.

Program Objectives

  • To make a culture of teamwork, respect and professionalism part of the fabric of the institution.
  • To protect employees and patients from sexual and other harassment from another employee, independent contractor, or physician.
  • To raise awareness that the BWH CPPS is available as a resource for any BWH employee to raise concerns regarding unprofessional behavior on the part of any physician as well as to help connect clinicians with resources -- such as professional coaching -- that can be helpful in addressing professionalism stumbling blocks.

Who Should Enroll
This program is MANDATORY for most members of our credentialed clinical staff. Click here for specifics regarding attendance requirements.

How to Enroll
Although the Professionalism course is a live program, registration and certification of completion of the course are tracked through HealthStream. To enroll, log into the BWH Provider Services affiliate section of HealthStream.

If you do not have Provider Services access to HealthStream, you need to contact the credentialing administrator within your department who can make sure that you are listed in the Provider Services database (which feeds into HealthStream). Feel free to contact us ( for additional help with this process. Additional HealthStream help can be found at this HealthStream FAQ page or by contacting the BWH Help Desk.
