Redesigning Care Through Patient Engagement

Our patients are being asked to navigate an increasingly complex healthcare system, while also experiencing limits to their provider network and paying a higher share of their bill out of their own pockets. At Brigham and Women's, we are working to partner with our patients, to better involve, engage, and inform them about their care.

We have implemented a broad set of tools such as Vidscrips and Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) to achieve these four goals: to help patients maintain healthy behaviors, to educate them about their care, to encourage shared decision making through discussions with providers, and to measure our results in a way that best reflects the patient perspective.

To learn more about Vidscrips and PROMs visit the links under Redesigning Care Through Patient Engagementlocated on the left navigation tool bar, as well as the Partners Care Decisions website here.

All questions can be directed to BrighamCareRedesign@partners.org.
