Gretchen Stone Cook Scholarship

Brigham and Women’s Hospital is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patient population, and fulfilling our mission is only possible with a staff that is dedicated to furthering their knowledge throughout their careers. We are very grateful to the Gretchen Stone Cook Charitable Foundation for helping to advance the educational goals of our extraordinary nurses, which will translate into providing the best care possible for our patients.

The Genevieve Hope Blaney Scholarship, funded by the Gretchen Stone Cook Charitable Foundation, was established in 2008 with the goal of providing nurses who are enrolled in a degree granting program with financial scholarships to help advance their education. The award provides nurses with recognition as well as much needed funding that often allows them to complete their degrees at a faster pace.

This year, the extraordinary support of the Gretchen Stone Cook Charitable Foundation will be distributed among 11 deserving nurses.

For over a century, a leader in patient care, medical education and research, with expertise in virtually every specialty of medicine and surgery.
