Margaret Higgins, MSN, RN, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Critical Care, Cardiovascular and Neurosciences

Margaret HigginsMs. Higgins leads nursing in the Critical Care, Cardiovascular and Neurosciences divisions.

Prior to being appointed to her current role, she was the associate chief nursing officer for Women’s and Newborn Health as well as Care Continuum Management at the Brigham. She continues to provide coverage for these areas as the department works to recruit additional leaders.

Ms. Higgins has more than 20 years of clinical nursing and leadership experience at the Brigham, including roles as nurse director for two Special Pathogens Intensive Care Units, as well as thoracic intensive and intermediate care units and plastic surgery and urology units.
