Physician Relations

Our physician liaisons are a team of experienced and proactive health care professionals who work for you — our referring providers.

Our goal is to ensure that you and your patients have the best possible experience across the Brigham, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital and our affiliated physicians and community-based services.

Our physician liaisons are available for the following services:

• Provide information and updates about clinical services, programs and Brigham Physicians
• Assist with referrals to Brigham services and physicians
• Facilitate access to the Mass General Brigham Physician Gateway, our clinical informatics network
• Arrange opportunities for you to meet with Brigham physicians
• Provide information about CME and other educational opportunities, including tumor boards, grand rounds, clinical case reviews and lunch-and-learn sessions

Mass General Brigham Physician Gateway

With Mass General Brigham Physician Gateway you can monitor the status of your patients who are receiving care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Mass Eye and Ear, and all Mass General Brigham (MGB) institutions, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and, using features available in the Epic-based electronic health record. Patient care information is available in Mass General Brigham Physician Gateway. 

You will be able to access data from both Epic and its predecessor, MGB Longitudinal Medical Record (LMR), in Mass General Brigham Physician Gateway.

You can access:

• Visit and consult notes
• Test results   
• Visit history  
• Inpatient and outpatient consult information
• Radiology reports
• Medications
• Providers of care    
• Discharge summaries
• Allergies

New features enable you to:

• Submit referrals for patients who have previously been seen at Mass General Brigham entities
• Manage your users with the “Manage My Clinic” functionality
• Share a patient list
