Department of Medicine Continuing Medical Education
Continuing Medical Education and Maintenance of Certification (CME and MOC) courses serve two purposes: to prepare trainees for board examinations and to support the maintenance of current knowledge by experienced faculty. Due to a recent change, the American Board of Internal Medicine has approved many of our courses to also offer MOC points.
The Brigham Board Review (Distance Learning) Series to prepare for subspecialty board exams (Gastroenterology, Critical Care, Pulmonary, Infectious Diseases, Allergy/Immunology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Hematology and Oncology).
In addition, a major textbook is based on the IRIM curriculum, entitled The Brigham Intensive Review of Internal Medicine with Drs. Ajay Singh and Joseph Loscalzo as editors.
