Brigham Genomic Medicine Conference

Our weekly BGM case conferences are a venue for intriguing new case presentations and lively discussion of our ongoing cases that our interdisciplinary team is working to solve with our breadth of clinical, bioinformatic and experimental expertise. Our conference series has been approved for sponsorship by Mass General Brigham System, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Attendees are eligible for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ per session.

The Medicine/Genetics Combined Residency

This combined residency is intended to train future physician and physician scientist leaders in Genomic Medicine. This program, jointly approved by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG), offers integrated training in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in Genetics at both BWH and several other Harvard-affiliated teaching Hospitals. Areas of program emphasis include monogenic and complex polygenic disease, Cancer Genetics, Metabolic Disease, and Cardiovascular, Renal and Pulmonary Genetics. The five-year curriculum allows considerable flexibility for the pursuit of mentored research projects and leads to active candidacy status for certification examinations in both Internal Medicine and Medical Genetics.

Harvard Medical School Genetics Training Program

A two-to-three year training program that meets the ABMG requirements for certification in Medical Genetics. It entails a 12-month period of full time clinical rotations at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
