About the Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care

Clinical Services

The Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians who provide patient-focused care to women at all stages of the disease. Clinical services we offer include:

  • Coordinated support and care management through contact with the Center's nurse coordinator at each visit;
  • Comprehensive diagnostic testing for newly referred patients;
  • Detailed disease management plan;
  • Rapid communication with referring physicians and other providers involved in patient care;
  • Access to a variety of designated multi-disciplinary specialists to assist in management of the specific health concerns of women with LAM;
  • Highest quality screening and care for patients with both LAM and TSC through our strong partnership with the Herscot Center for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) at Massachusetts General Hospital;

Specialty Services available to Women with LAM

The Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care is dedicated to meeting individual needs of patients. Women with LAM may chose to take advantage of any or all of the following:

  • Comprehensive Disease Management Services
  • Assistance with Medical Care Coordination by the Center's Research and Clinical Coordinator
  • Participation in LAM Research
