The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) provides comprehensive diagnostic testing and treatment services for patients with a variety of pulmonary infections, ranging from simple to severe. Our board-certified pulmonologists are part of a collaborative team of physicians, including infectious disease and microbiology specialists, researchers, nurses and therapists.
Our pulmonologists—Harvard Medical School faculty—are an integral part of the Infectious Lung Conditions and Immunologic Disorders Programs at The Lung Center at BWH. Patients who require surgery benefit from a combined medical-surgical approach through collaboration with the Division of Thoracic Surgery. Pulmonary and critical care medicine services are provided in the outpatient setting or our state-of-the-art inpatient units at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where strict attention is given to infection control.
