NeuroICU Fellowship

The Departments of Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital offer a 2-year fellowship in Neurocritical Care. Fellows within the program will train at both Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospitals in Boston, MA.

The Neurocritical Care fellows care for patients with complex critical illnesses who require careful clinical diagnosis and management and thoughtful application of advanced technologies for individualized management. The program affords directed experiences in bedside management, a wide variety of procedural and diagnostic skills, mentored research, training regarding ICU leadership strategies and career development. Fellows also care for patients with acute stroke, developing skills necessary in managing patients from the emergency department via telemedicine. The Division excels in state of the art acute management, neurological treatments, and advanced monitoring equipment. Fellows will receive an in-depth training in neurologic critical care and are expected to become competent within a wide range of critical care procedures and neurologic monitoring.
