Neurological Infections and Inflammatory Diseases Research

The Division of Neurological Infections and Inflammatory Diseases conducts research on infections and inflammatory conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The aim of our research is to investigate the underlying risks, treatment strategies and outcomes, and translate our findings into improved care for our patients.

Our researchers study infections and immune conditions that affect the nervous system as part of the Infectious and Immunologic Diseases Research Center at the Brigham Research Institute (BRI). We offer several clinical research and trial opportunities to our patients and the community. We also participate in clinical trials that can be found on Mass General Brigham Clinical Trials website.
