For Neuromuscular Disease Patients and Families

The Division of Neuromuscular Disease and Electromyography cares for patients with a variety of neuromuscular disorders: myopathies (e.g., dystrophy, channelopathy, metabolic, mitochondrial, inflammatory, toxic), neuromuscular junction (myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, congenital myasthenia), neuropathy (hereditary and acquired), and motor neuron disease (e.g., ALS, PLS, SMA, HSP). The Division also is involved in cutting edge translational research and many clinical trials that can be offered to interested patients.
