Sports Neurology and Concussion Program

The Sports Neurology and Concussion Program at the Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center in Foxborough offers evaluation and treatment services exclusively for athletes experiencing neurological issues related to sports injuries such as: concussions, pain, peripheral nerve injuries, and others affecting their athletic performance. Launched in 2010 as the only academic Sports Neurology Program in New England, this unique service can help get injured athletes safely back on the playing field in a timely manner as appropriate.

Led by Claus Reinsberger, MD, the interdisciplinary clinic draws upon the collaborative expertise of a diverse team of physicians. Specialists from neurology, orthopaedics, physiatry, and physical therapy and occupational therapy work together to comprehensively diagnose and treat neurological conditions that can impact athletic performance.
