Neurosurgery Residency Application Process

The Brigham and Women’s and Boston Children’s Hospital program participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Interested candidates should submit an application through the standard Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Each year, approximately 40 candidates are selected to interview for 3 spots. Strong candidates demonstrate a commitment to academic neurosurgery and the ability to work as a team.

2022-2023 Interview Information

All our interviews this year will be virtual. The schedule of interview days is listed below. 

We expect to complete our review and issue all interview invitations by the end of October. 

The 2022-2023 Interview Dates are as follows: 

  • Wednesday, December 7th 
  • Thursday, December 8th
  • Wednesday, December 14th
  • Thursday, December 15th
