Private postpartum rooms for you and your newborn are spacious and staffed by skilled and compassionate nurses who provide care, teaching and support, including lactation guidance. Our Department of Pediatrics physicians care for newborns of all gestational ages and are especially trained to care for premature newborns. Our Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) unit cares for nearly 3,000 premature and seriously ill babies each year.
