The Advanced Center for Cartilage Repair, Shoulder and Sports Injuries at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) cares for patients with the full spectrum of challenging orthopedic conditions from arthritis to work-related injuries to sports injuries of the shoulder, hip and knee. Our physician-directed program offers a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical treatment approaches for men and women of all ages, including competitive and non-competitive athletes.

We are part of a unique collaboration between the Cartilage Repair Center—specializing in arthroscopic surgical procedures to repair and restore cartilage in all major joints of the body.

Our board-certified orthopaedic surgeons are fellowship trained in orthopaedic sports medicine, shoulder surgery and joint reconstruction. They are active researchers in cartilage disorders who train the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons through our specialized orthopaedic fellowship programs.
