Joint Replacement Services

Unicompartmental (Partial) Knee Replacement: Partial knee replacement is an option for patients with localized damage to one part of the knee joint, usually the inside of the knee. Benefits of this procedure include smaller incision, faster recovery and better motion than the standard total knee replacement.

Patellofemoral Replacement: Also a partial knee replacement, patellofemoral replacement specifically treats arthritis located in the area of the knee behind the patella (kneecap).

Total Knee Replacement: Total knee replacement is the standard treatment for advanced osteoarthritis. All parts of the knee joint are replaced with plastic and metal inserts.

Patient-Specific Custom-Fit Replacement (ConforMIS): This newly developed technology consists of replacement pieces manufactured specifically for the individual patient based on a CT or MRI scan. This method offers the benefit of being more bone preserving than the traditional total knee replacement.
