Orthopaedic Trauma Services

As a Level I Trauma Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) provides expert clinical and surgical care for trauma patients from all over New England and beyond. Our Orthopaedic Trauma Service provides for all needs of trauma patients, including initial life-saving measures, critical care, surgery and rehabilitation. We are dedicated to using our outstanding clinical expertise and compassion to meet the needs of our patients and their families.

The Orthopaedic Trauma Service is a member of the Harvard Medical School Orthopaedic Trauma Initiative; the primary purpose of this Initiative is to foster collaboration amongst the orthopaedic trauma services at Harvard-affiliated teaching hospitals.
