Virology Laboratory

The Virology Laboratory performs multiple testing modalities for different viruses. These include cell culture, serology, antigen testing and nucleic acid testing. Testing is performed Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm.

Specific tests include the following:

  • Cell culture for HSV, CMV, adenovirus, and VZV
  • Antibodies for toxoplasma, VZV, CMV, measles, mumps, EBV
  • Influenza A/B, parainfluenza, RSV, EBV, HIV, BK virus
