The Michele and Howard Kessler Health Education Library at Brigham and Women's Hospital is part of the Mass General Brigham System. Patients and family members may also visit the resource centers at the following facilities to find additional books, magazines and online resources beyond the Kessler Library's collection.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Blum Resource Center and Satellites
Resources include books, brochures, audio and videotapes, three computer terminals linked to Onco-link and Cancer Net, bulletin board with information about community resources, transportable multi-media unit on breast reconstruction, One-to-One Program providing phone calls to cancer patients, Backpack Program for children and teens whose parents have cancer.
Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital Patient/Family Resource Center
Resources include books, journals, newsletters, pamphlets and brochures, videos, CD-ROMS, health databases, Internet resources, classes.
Massachusetts General Hospital Maxwell & Eleanor Blum Patient and Family Learning Center
Resources include children's books, consumer health books, medical texts, pamphlets and brochures, consumer magazines, television and VCR with headphones, video library, WMGH-TV (in-house patient education channel), 7 computer workstations, Internet access, CD-ROM programs.
