Director, Department of Nutrition; Registered Licensed Dietitian

Kathy is Director of the Dietetic Internship, the Intensive Lifestyle Treatment Program of CWMW, and for Nutrition Services at DFCI. She served as co-investigator of the NIH-funded POUNDS (Preventing Overweight Using Novel Dietary Strategies) Lost Study and authored more than 25 publications and book chapters. Kathy currently writes for Harvard Medical School’s Harvard Health Blog. Her mission is to support patients in improving their health. Outside work she enjoys running, cooking, reading, and spending time with family/friends.

Nancy has 22 years of nutrition counseling expertise and is a science writer at The Nutrition Source at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her mission is to nurture the talents of the NWS team, educate all on nutrition’s key role in health and disease, and coach patients toward lasting behavior change.

Marc has 30 years of counseling expertise in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, sports nutrition, plant-based/vegetarian diets, epilepsy, and weight loss/gain. His mission is to empower his patients to realize their ability to follow a healthy lifestyle. Outside work he enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and traveling with his family.

Her mission is to empower her patients to develop healthier relationships with food via small, sustainable changes. Outside work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active outdoors, and reading.

She also sees patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and for healthy eating. Her mission is to empower patients to develop and hone their nutrition knowledge and skills, through a compassionate lens grounded in the principles of intuitive eating and a weight-inclusive approach. Outside work she enjoys traveling and hiking.

Sasha has 6 years of counseling experience in weight loss, diabetes, cardiovascular health, neuro-nutrition, diabetes, oncology, and behavior/lifestyle changes. Her mission is to work closely with patients to identify and navigate elements that play a role in their health and to ensure they feel their best through education, compassion, and care. She is the co-founder of a nutrition restaurant and juice company.

Ruth “Tammy” Bagley

Practice Assistant II

Tammy performs all administrative duties and is invaluable in greeting our patients and scheduling their appointments with patience and kindness. She has worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for 30 years, and with NWS for 18 years. Outside work she enjoys swimming in a pool or even the ocean and spending time with her three beautiful grandchildren and new great-granddaughter.
