CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE

Primary Care Center

The Role of Primary Care in Education and Training

Primary care is a foundation for high quality patient care. Today, we are experiencing a national under-supply of primary care providers, and projections forecast an increasing shortage, in part due to uncertainty among new doctors about what the future of primary care looks like. Addressing this change is another way the Center can have a systemic and far-reaching impact.

We aim to leverage the innovative clinical model and optimize it in implementation, reaffirming for doctors and patients alike that patient care fundamentally begins, and continues through their lives. This care is based on a strong relationship between physicians, the patient care teams, and the patients. Additionally, the leading-edge practices in the Center will provide work environments that allow physicians passionate about primary care to realize their commitment to deliver care effectively and with excellence.
