Brigham Psychiatric Specialties

Personalized Psychiatric Evaluation and Care

The expert, interdisciplinary team within Brigham Psychiatric Specialties works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s medical, social, and psychological profiles. Careful diagnosis and treatment planning incorporate a full and integrated range of evidence-based psychopharmacological, cognitive-behavioral/psychotherapeutic, and brain stimulation approaches. Patients are encouraged to be active participants in their care, which focuses on improving daily functioning, increasing satisfaction with life, and enhancing stress management skills. In addition to our general outpatient psychiatric services, we offer specialized addiction, depression, and women’s mental health services. Several Brigham and Women’s Hospital Community Health Centers feature embedded multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural/linguistic teams of mental health providers to deliver complete care for patients in their communities.

For over a century, a leader in patient care, medical education and research, with expertise in virtually every specialty of medicine and surgery.
