Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship

Brigham and Women's Hospital is one of the core training sites for the one-year full-time Mass General Brigham Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship, jointly offered by Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, and the Brigham. All addiction psychiatry fellows rotate on the Brigham Medical Psychiatry Service to perform consultations to all medical and surgical units, as well as obstetrics, intensive care units, and the Emergency Department. Fellows will enhance their skills to function effectively as expert addiction consultants in the medical setting. In addition, fellows are expected to gain proficiency in the use motivational interviewing, to mentor third year Harvard Medical School psychiatry clerks, and to participate in daily teaching rounds.
