Angiography and Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology is a specialty which treats major and minor diseases using minimally invasive techniques. Via a pinhole incision, interventional radiologists can use needles and catheters to treat various conditions with imaging guidance. Interventional radiology procedures are less invasive than traditional surgeries, allow for faster recovery, and can often be performed in the outpatient setting.

Our multidisciplinary team will accomplish this in the most efficient manner by utilizing the fundamentals of clinical and academic excellence in the practice of cardiovascular and interventional radiology.

Our vision is to establish the Division of Angiography and Interventional Radiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital as one of the best in the country.
