The Department of Radiology provides CT services at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital main campus, at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, and at community-based locations throughout southeastern Massachusetts. Across this network, we utilize state-of-the-art CT scanners and advanced CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality images at low radiation dose. We tailor our CT imaging techniques to each patient’s size and specific medical needs, while focusing on patient safety and comfort. Our CT scanners and imaging protocols undergo frequent rigorous review, and a team of Radiologists, Technologists, and Medical Physicists actively monitor the radiation doses and image quality of our scans.

CT scans are frequently used in interventional radiology procedures. Go to the Cross Sectional Interventional Radiology (CSIR) page for more information about these types of procedures.
