Ordering new tests

In order to set up a new study with us, we need you to fill out the BRAC application. This will give us all the information we need to set up the study and users in our database (Freezerworks), and to start the process of sample collection or drop-off.

Sending Samples to the BRAC

In order to send us samples, you must send an excel file listing the samples in the order they are arranged in the box. The excel file should contain certain information. To request a sample file, please email freezerworks@partners.org, and we will prepare to receive your samples. Samples are commonly shipped by Fed-ex, or directly dropped off by coordinators. 

Turnaround Time

In most cases we hold samples from several studies until we have a batch large enough to fill a kit. If you need a faster turn-around time please contact us before dropping off samples. We will do our best to accommodate you, but many of our supplies take several weeks to come in. Once samples are completed the results can be looked up on our website, the details are on here. When the study is set up, all investigators and coordinators receive a log-in to our database in order to look up results. If you have forgotten your password or need to change your username, email Freezerworks@partners.org and we can make the changes.

Rush Fees

If you need results faster than one month from delivery, the samples may be subject to a rush fee. Please contact the lab for more information.
