Urology Research Facilities and Equipment

The urology clinic is located in the Ambulatory Building of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, at 45 Francis Street. This is midway between Brookline Avenue and Huntington Avenue and where the entrance of the parking garage is located.

If you do not wish to drive, the clinic is accessible by bus, subway (Longwood Avenue on D line and Brigham Circle on E line), or with the shuttle bus from the Faulkner or Massachusetts General Hospital.

The clinic is located on the third floor of the Ambulatory Building and the main reception is on the right when you exit the elevator.

We have the following equipment:

  • uroflow
  • bladder scanner
  • ultrasound device for prostate biopsies
  • cystoscopes
  • Targis® System (microwave energy)

We also have access to the following services:

  • phlebotomy
  • bone density
  • code blue (emergencies)
  • Investigational Drug Services (IDS)

Our collaborators include:

  • Dana Farber Cancer Institute (Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology)
  • Harvard Medical School (research laboratories)
  • Children’s Hospital (research laboratories)
