Cardiac Surgery Programs and Specialties

Cardiac surgeons in the Heart & Vascular Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) provide diagnostic care and treatment for the entire spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.

Our surgeons care for heart patients alongside experts in cardiovascular medicine, vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiovascular anesthesiology and cardiovascular imaging. Together with nurses who specialize in cardiovascular care, physician assistants, physical therapists, dietitians and social workers, they form a strong multidisciplinary team able to address every aspect of our patients’ needs.
