Urinary Infection and Inflammation

Urinary infections and inflammations can cause discomfort that may be mild or severely debilitating. The Division of Urology at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) offers specialized care for men and women who are suffering from urinary infections or inflammation of the bladder. Our urologic surgeons are experts at diagnosing and treating urinary tract infections, pelvic pain, prostatitis and cystitis.

We understand how sensitive genitourinary problems can be and offer a private setting to evaluate patients and tailor customized treatment plans. Diagnostic methods include comprehensive medical exams and advanced diagnostic tests. Our all-encompassing treatment involves lifestyle changes, non-invasive treatment techniques and minimally invasive surgery.

Our urology practice consists of board-certified urologic surgeons and a supportive clinical and administrative staff who work as one cohesive team to provide the best possible care for each patient. In addition, patients have full access to BWH's world-renowned academic medical center in Boston with its diverse multidisciplinary specialists and state-of-the-art facilities.

Urologic services are available at Brigham and Women's Hospital Main Campus in Boston, at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, at Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center at Foxborough, and at our newest locations Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center in Milford and Brigham and Women's Health Care Center at Westwood. Discuss the most convenient location for you when you make an appointment with a patient coordinator.
