Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Patients and Families

Patients and families are at the core of everything we do. We provide constant support throughout their hospital experience—from diagnosis to admission and discharge, and long after as they continue the healing process at home.

As part of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) Heart & Vascular Center, our vascular and endovascular surgeons work alongside experts from cardiology, cardiac surgery, radiology and nursing inside BWH’s state-of-the-art Shapiro Cardiovascular Center. Integrating all cardiovascular services in one center makes scheduling appointments easier and enables a constant flow of communication among multiple specialists.

Our Shapiro Cardiovascular Center offers spacious and private inpatient rooms and comfortable waiting areas for families. We typically coordinate outpatient visits so that patients are seen by several heart and vascular specialists the same day. For patients with concurrent health issues, the services and specialists at BWH’s main hospital, located across the street, are easily accessible.
