Join us as Dr. Gail Guzelian, OB-GYN, discusses the changes your body will experience during pregnancy and how to best optimize your health prior to pregnancy. Learn what to look for when choosing a provider and how to create a birth plan and breastfeeding plan tailored to your needs and preferences.

This free health talk will take place at the state-of-the-art Brigham and Women’s Health Care Center, Westwood, a convenient community setting for expert primary and specialty care. ACL Injuries in High School Athletes: The Tip of the Iceberg

While ACL injuries can be an annoyance, they also pose medical implications that young athletes and their parents should be aware of. Join us as sports medicine specialist, Dr. Christian Lattermann, MD, discusses why ACL injuries happen in teenagers, how they are diagnosed, how they are treated, what the consequences are, and how to prevent them. He’ll also discuss the exciting new initiatives at Brigham Health specifically designed to support young athletes.

In Partnership with our Community: Free Skin Health Screening

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
University Station Shopping Pavilion in Westwood

Your skin is in! Brigham and Women's Health Care Center, Westwood is teaming up with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to provide free skin cancer screenings. Brigham Health dermatologist, Dr. Erin Wei, will be on board the mobile screening clinic to provide free full-body examinations (or spot checking, if preferred) and address any skin-cancer related concerns. There will be educational materials and fun sun-safety giveaways to take home. The mobile clinic - Dana-Farber's Blum Family Resource Center Van - will be at the University Station Shopping Pavilion located between Target and Wegman’s.
