Your Health and Safety is Our Top Priority

The health and safety of our patients, their loved ones and staff remains our top priority as we navigate this new normal. We are steadfast in our commitment to provide the safest possible environment for your health care.

Vaccines not only protects you from getting an illness like the Flu or Covid-19, but they can also reduce your risk of serious complications. While a Flu shot or Covid Booster may not prevent you from getting sick, it can help protect you from needing hospitalization and long-term complications. The symptoms of flu and COVID-19 are very similar. This year, it is important to get both a flu vaccine and a Covid Booster.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine. There are different types of flu vaccines. Some flu vaccines are meant for over those who are 65 years and older. If you are 65 or older, you should get these vaccines, when available.

CDC also recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, including all primary series doses and boosters for their age group:

  • People ages 12 years and older, who have completed their initial vaccine series, are recommended to receive one updated Pfizer or Moderna (bivalent) booster if it has been more than 2 months since your last Covid Vaccine.
    • This includes people who have received all primary series doses and people who have previously received one or more original (monovalent) boosters.
    • At this time, people aged 12 years to 17 years can only receive the updated Pfizer bivalent booster.
