Sleep Matters Initiative

Improved Sleep Leads to a Healthier Life

Contact the Sleep Matters Initiative

The Sleep Matters Initiative team is a group of expert sleep scientists and clinicians devoted to translating advancements in sleep science to improve sleep health. We seek to foster excellence in the treatment of sleep and circadian disorders, to train future sleep clinicians and investigators, and to promote a world-wide culture of healthy sleep. We provide consultation and assistance in the implementation of sleep screening and educational programs for public and private institutions.  Our expertise stems from our research on the health and safety risks associated with sleep disorders and the irregular and restricted work schedules of occupational groups, including resident physicians, police officers, federal air marshals, firefighters, flight controllers, bar pilots and astronauts.
