Epilepsy and Seizure Center

Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders

The Edward B. Bromfield Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a level 4 nationally accredited center offering state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments for adults with seizures and offers consultations and advanced treatments for those with uncontrolled epilepsy including those who may be candidates for surgical treatment. We work in a multi-disciplinary team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychiatrists, neuropsychologists, social workers, and a variety of advanced practitioners, all focused on individual patients, especially those with uncontrolled seizures.

We are home to the most advanced brain imaging technologies and other diagnostics, which allow us to understand where seizures originate to guide the best treatment for those with uncontrolled seizures, including those who may be candidates for surgical treatments.
