Fertility Testing and Evaluation

Before starting fertility preservation, your fertility specialist will guide you through testing to evaluate your fertility potential and how you may respond to treatment.  

For women and AFAB patients, these may include:

• Bloodwork to measure hormone levels
• Ultrasound evaluations to check ovarian reserve

For men and AMAB patients, these may include:

• Semen analysis to check the quantity and quality of sperm
• Infectious disease testing to screen for any diseases that may affect implantation or harm fetal development
