To the NICU Staff at BWH:
It is hard to believe it has been 7 months since Jared was born! As most of you know, it has been a long, hard road for us but well worth it now that he is finally at home.
Jared was in the BWH NICU for 11 weeks and then Children's NICU for 12 more weeks. He is thriving at home and our 2 lb 9 oz, 28-wk preemie is now a whopping 14 lbs 2oz.
We think of you all often and are so thankful that we had such a wonderful, supportive staff during such a difficult time in our lives.
After losing Zachary 7 hours after he and Jared were born, I was unsure how I would have the strength to deal with the NICU rollercoaster. Thankfully, Jared had the most amazing Primary Team to teach, support, and listen daily! We think of you all with such fond memories. Special hugs to Janet, Elaine, Kerri, Mary, and Izzy.
