Daphne A. Haas-Kogan, MD, of the Department of Radiation Oncology, was named as one of the 2021 Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine for her excellence in radiation oncology and academic medicine. This award is provided annually and through peer nominations to clinicians who have promoted “the advancement of healthcare through clinical care, research, community service, education and/or leadership.”
Haas-Kogan’s research focuses on characterizing the abnormal signaling pathways and related targeting agents within brain tumors and childhood cancers.
