Women and men experience many common lung disorders differently. The Women’s Lung Health Program at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) Lung Center is an innovative, multidisciplinary collaboration between physicians, surgeons and healthcare providers who treat and study lung disease in women.
We draw on the significant expertise in women’s health and sex- and gender-based research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and bring together a community of expert pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, infectious disease physicians, geneticists and scientists.
The Lung Center is located at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston at the 15 Francis Street entrance. Pulmonary and critical care medicine, thoracic surgery and thoracic imaging are adjacent to one another, making accessibility and appointment scheduling seamless.
