Genitourinary Pathology

The Genitourinary (GU) Pathology Service is a component of the Division of Surgical Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, which evaluates disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs including the prostate gland, bladder, kidney, testis, and penis. Diagnostic expertise and services are provided, including routine histologic examination as well as a variety of specialized immunological and molecular tests. Active educational initiatives include daily teaching of students, residents and fellows, along with programs for continuing medical education. Teaching sets are available for residents, fellows and visitors in basic prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular pathology.
