The Center for Surgery and Public Health (CSPH) at the Brigham advances the science of surgical care delivery by studying effectiveness, quality, equity and value at the population level, and develops surgeon-scientists committed to excellence in these areas. The CSPH Global Health Surgery program is a research program that addresses the critical issues of surgical access, quality and outcomes in resource-poor settings, with a focus on improving systems of care and developing infrastructure for the sustainable delivery of surgical care.
