DF/BWCC at Milford Regional Medical Center
The center is located next to the main campus of the Milford Regional Medical Center at the intersection of routes 140 and 16.
The new, 54,000-square foot, two-floor center provides comprehensive cancer services, including radiation therapy and imaging on the first floor, and the medical oncology clinic area with expanded space for infusion, exams, reception, and support services, such as social work and nutrition, on the second floor.
In addition, imaging services on the first floor include CT, PET CT, MRI and X-ray. Laboratory testing is conveniently located within the center as well. Current Milford cancer patients receive their care in the building, while DF/BWCC patients have the option to go there for treatment of certain cancers.
Milford Regional's central location provides easy access to comprehensive cancer care.
Patients and families from both facilities were included in the space-planning process in an effort to make sure the new clinic would be patient-friendly and supportive.
Milford Regional Medical Center is a nonprofit, full-service, community and regional acute-care teaching hospital serving a region of 20-plus towns.
