Welcome to the Brigham and Women's Hospital Burn Center. Our primary focus is to provide the very best burn care to our patients. We are both a national and a community resource for burn disasters and have taken care of patients from the Rhode Island night club fire, the Malden Mills fire, and the Newton factory fire.
As an American Burn Association and American College of Surgeons-certified Level I burn and trauma center, we offer the latest approved technologies in burn care, including artificial skin, vacuum-assisted closure techniques, and plastic surgical procedures. We are also actively testing many new products and procedures using approved clinical protocols. Our multidisciplinary team includes nursing, physical and occupational therapy, social work, and psychiatry. We have a close partnership with Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital that helps many of our patients through the rehabilitation phase of their recovery.
We invite you to visit our website and learn about our commitment in providing the best clinical burn care as well as excelling in research, teaching, and outreach.
