Dr. Wright came to the Faulkner Hospital in 1973, to join Dr. Grace in the Division of Gastroenterology, having completed his gastroenterology training on the Harvard Service at the Boston City Hospital. Over the next 20 years, Dr. Wright established himself as a superior teacher and clinician and directed the Tufts medical student teaching program at the Faulkner. He was very active in a number of committees at the Medical School, with a particular interest in curriculum affairs. Dr. Wright also participated in the clinical research program of the Division. In 1995, Dr. Wright was chosen as Chief of Medicine at the Faulkner, but he continues to play a significant role in the GI Division.
