National Community Health Center Week is August 11-15th
Come visit Brookside for five themed days full of great information and activities for kids and adults.
Monday, August 11th 1-3pm: Women's Day includes health information for women, sign ups for mammograms, and lots of giveaways.
Tuesday, August 12th 1-3pm: Preventative Care Day includes information about diabetes and color cancer screening.
Wednesday, August 13th 12-5pm: Farmers' Market at Brookside! Come check out lots of delicious, local produce (EBT accepted)
Thursday, August 14th 1-3pm: Nutrition Day includes free snack, great recipes, giveaways, and kids activities!
Friday, August 15th 1-3pm: Children's Day includes a reading circle and fun activities.

Brookside Community Health Center, one of two health centers licensed by Brigham and Women's Hospital, provides multi-disciplinary, comprehensive care with services in the following areas:
- Adult medicine
- Obstetrics/Gynecology (including midwifery)
- Family planning
- Dentistry and Oral Surgery
- Mental Health and Social Services.
Each year, more than 11,000 patients from Jamaica Plain and the city of Boston use these services, making more than 69,000 visits to Brookside each year. The health center's services are provided by a bilingual English/Spanish medical and professional staff. Brookside is moving towards becoming a certified Patient Centered Medical Home, which will reinforce our long-standing values.
Brookside is a teaching site for Harvard Medical School, Mass General Institute of Nursing, Harvard Dental School, Smith College School of Social Work, Boston University School of Social Work, Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, as well as other Boston area health care professional programs.
