Welcome to Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center 

Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center is a community health center licensed by Brigham and Women's Hospital.  Every year, more than 10,000 patients in Jamaica Plain and surrounding communities make 45,000 visits to SJPHC.  Our bilingual staff provides these patients with comprehensive, high quality primary care.  At the Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center, we take pride in knowing our patients and providing health care in a friendly, personalized way. 

Founded in 1971 as well-baby clinic, Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center (SJPHC) originally operated from  one room in the Curtis Hall community building.  Today, our center offers a full range of medical services  for people of all ages-from infants to senior citizens.  Conveniently located at 640 Centre Street, our state-of-the-art facility now occupies its own building between Green Street and Greenview Avenue.  Still, our mission remains very much the same:  to provide personal, quality health care with respect and compassion.

Bienvenidos al centro de salud Southern Jamaica Plain

Fundado en 1971 como una clínica de cuidado infantil, el centro de salud Southern Jamaica Plain (SJPHC) comenzó sus operaciones en una sala del edificio comunitario Curtis Hall.  Hoy en día ofrecemos una completa variedad de servicios medicos para personas de todas las edades, desde bebé hasta ancianos.  Nuestro modernísimo centro funciona ahora en un edificio propio situado en el número 640 de Centre Street, entre Green Street y Greenview Avenue.  Hay algo que permanece siempre igual:  nuestra misión de brindar una atención médica personal y de excelente calidad.

The Health Promotion Center (HPC) is a part of the Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center.  Our mission is to provide personal, quality health care with respect and compassion to our diverse community.

 (The HPC uses the lens of Health Equity/takes an approach that considers social determinants of health/strives to be antiracist through it's programming and campaign work)
